RAMTHA delivers his teachings and messages with the help of a phenomenon called Channeling. As the matter of fact the term became popular thanks to Ramtha. Ramtha uses the body of JZ Knight as a Channel and personally teaches his philosophy. JZ Knight is the only channel chosen by Ramtha to deliver his messages. His philosophy is not about worshipping a messenger, an image or an icon – which had failed to bring the Enlightenment to people in the past – but it is about hearing the message itself. This philosophy states that the genuine entity of a human is not limited to the physical body or a certain gender. Thus the phenomenon of Channeling realizes in terms of Ramtha’s System of the Thought.

In the present time there are scientific methods which allow examining the phenomenon of JZ Knight’s channeling and eliminating the fraud. Suchlike scientific researches had begun in the year 1996, when a group of specialists consisting of neuroscientists, psychologists, sociologists and experts in the field of religion engaged in the examination of JZ Knight’s state before, during and after the Channeling.

The team of highly qualified psychologists led by PhD Stanley Krippner of the Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center had been studying JZ Kinght and her school during one year and afterwards made some physiological and psychological tests applying the newest technologies and equipment. They concluded that the registered reactions and signals in JZ Knight’s autonomous nervous system were so eloquent that they totally excluded any possibility of fraud or personality disorder.

PhD and the president of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback Ian Wickramasekera states that when JZ Knight fell into a trance and the consciousness of Ramtha entered her body, her heart beat 40 bpm, then it went up to 180 bpm. In a normal state of relaxation her heart would indicate on average 85-90 bpm. Dr. Gail Harley noted that “the color of her eyes was changing from the soft salient blue, when she was JZ Knight, into the blurry deep steel grey, when she was Ramtha. The tone of her skin darkened, the jaws squeezed while her manners grew more and more warlike and stern in Ramtha’s presence”.

Dr. Wickramasekera presented his materials in the American Psychological Association, which is a reputable place for similar research. The first article dedicated to the work “the Phenomenon of Ramtha: psychological, phenomenological and geomagnetic data” was published in the “Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research” in January, 1998.
